First of all, a really big From-The-Heart thanks everyone for making me feel better about yesterday's picture. I went back and looked at it last night and, while I still wasn't completely happy with myself, it didn't seem quite as bad as it had yesterday morning.Confession: I took 13 pictures today to find the one that I feel adequately displayed how I felt regarding this outfit. Also: what you can't see off to the left in this picure is my cat and my dog sharing the couch, grooming each other (Don't ask, they're weird!) So I was watching them because sometimes the cat gets a little vicious and starts biting the dog's face, but I was also trying to take my picture at the same time. This is the result...
Hoodie T-Shirt: Wal-Mart. White tank top: basically anywhere. Jeans (not dark wash!) Pennington's. Also regarding the jeans? THEY'RE A SIZE 20!! A whole size smaller than my usual! YAY!
Other "day off" staples in the background: laptop, slippers, cell phone, cadbury mini eggs. Plans for the day include *maybe* doing some dishes and laundry, and baking a cheesecake. Today's gonna be a good day!

Hoodie t-shirt? That is just so totally cool. Anything with a hood wins! This way, when you get caught walking the dog and the summer rain hits, you can still stop the rain from blinding you as it drips straight through your hair and into your face (the only downfall of short hair, imo). I need to go shopping.
ReplyDeleteAnd my animals do that too. Except when the cat has enough, he doesn't bite the dog's face, he smacks him. And then his claws get caught in the dog's jowls and they both scream bloody murder... It's absolutely hilarious. (Neither of them get hurt - they're just drama queens). Often, the dog stands up and walks across the room with the cat hanging from his face :)
Love the shirt! Glad today's better for you, and glad that looking back at yesterday's picture isn't quite so bad. :)
ReplyDelete(I did something similar yesterday: after taking my picture, I was horrified at how wide in the hips I looked and how HUGE my legs seemed, but I posted it anyhow (AND refrained from self-deprecating commentary - THAT is a big deal for me! I always do this "I'll insult myself as a 'joke' before anyone else can do it for me" thing... ). When I went back to respond to comments, I still wasn't 100% happy with it, but it also didn't look near as bad. This really *does* seem to be working: TJ's a genius!)
Agree, that's an awesome shirt and I want one. And you look happy as you're watching your cat beat up (I mean bath) your dog :).
